Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join a respected law firm in Bonita Springs, providing essential support to attorneys in a busy estate planning and probate practice. Join a respected and close-knit law firm where you\'ll play a key role supporting attorneys and clients in a professional, fast-paced, and rewarding environment. Responsibilities Prepare, proofread, and edit legal documents and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail. Manage and organize schedules, including coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements. Maintain and update legal files and records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance. Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and court personnel to facilitate case progress. Assist in the preparation of legal pleadings, briefs, and contracts. Handle incoming calls and correspondence, ensuring prompt and professional responses. Track deadlines and manage case calendars to ensure timely submissions and filings. Support additional administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth departmental operations. Qualifications Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Familiarity with legal terminology and document formatting standards. A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving in a professional setting. A high level of discretion and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
