Legal Secretary Apply
Bremer Whyte Brown & O'Meara, LLP is seeking a talented Legal Secretary to join our award-winning team. As a Legal Secretary, you will have an essential role in supporting our attorneys and clients, and contributing to our continued success.
Responsibilities
- Draft and format legal documents, correspondence, and briefs
- Maintain attorney calendars, including scheduling appointments and calendaring deadlines
- Handle correspondence with clients and attorneys
- File legal documents timely and accurately with California courts using e-filing procedures
- Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to filing or distribution
- Assist with miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent secretarial experience required. Insurance Defense, Civil Litigation, and/or Personal Injury background preferred
- Knowledge of California court filing/e-filing procedures
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat
- Sharp attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, reliable team player with a professional yet outgoing personality
