About the Role:

We are seeking an Optician / Optical Sales Associate who is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and enjoys helping people look and feel their best.

This role combines eyewear sales, technical optical work, and patient interaction, guiding patients through frame and lens selection while ensuring accuracy, comfort, and a seamless experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with frame and lens selection based on prescription, lifestyle, and preferences
• Provide eyewear dispensing, fittings, and adjustments for optimal comfort and vision
• Perform lens verification and neutralization using a lensometer
• Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and contact lenses
• Enter and maintain accurate patient and order information in EMR systems
• Manage optical inventory, including receiving, tracking, and merchandising frames
• Support contact lens sales and patient education
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming optical area
• Anticipate patient needs and provide a smooth, supportive experience
