Hardware: Assist with maintaining inventory of District hardware and related documentation manuals. Provide ongoing technical support staff. Provide technical support to district personnel including, but not limited to, all hardware and software applications. Network: Assist with maintenance, administration, and installation of network servers, services, security, and applications in accordance with standard Information Technology policies and procedures. Participate in planning, implementation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of VMware and Windows operating systems. Administer Office 365 and Google Workspace organizational accounts, as required. Assist with implementation, configuration, monitoring, and maintaining backup and recovery servers. Assist with maintenance and administration of the network and security systems. Assist with monitoring firewall rules, VPN users, etc. Active Directory and Group Policy management Manage image creation, deploying patches, and maintaining critical updates while minimizing downtime for end users. Participate in managing organizational licensing and certification renewals. Perform site inspections, network modeling, analysis, and planning for technology implementation. Keep abreast of new developments related to hardware, software, and systems requirements. Perform other duties as directed. Terms of Employment Twelve-month year with salary and benefits to be established by the Board of Education.
