Licensed Architect Apply
The position provides architectural and design services to all activities and tenants for a broad range of facilities, served by NAVFAC. This includes a large number of customer activities with varied missions, dispersed over a sizable geographical region with numerous facility types, ranging from administrative and housing facilities to very complex industrial and operational facilities.
Pay scale: GS-13
Responsibilities:
- As Senior Design Architect and Senior Design Manager, you will provides timely, professional architectural products, services and consultation for the planning, design, construction and maintenance of facilities for the Navy, Marine Corps, and other Supported Commands, including specific projects, special projects, military construction (MILCON), demolition, maintenance, space utilization and facilities development.
- Typical services include all aspects of architectural design, including architectural programming, space planning, concept design development, sustainable design, design analyses, compliance with codes and standards, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and other required services.
- Typical facility types include housing, community support facilities (dining facilities, clubs, fitness centers, child development centers), medical facilities, education/training facilities, maintenance shops, industrial facilities, hangars, administration buildings, operations buildings (command and control centers), and other shore installation facilities.
- Represents NAVFAC in conferences with project stakeholders and collaborates with other design and engineering disciplines to ensure systems coordination and integration with specific project requirements.
- When assigned, actively engage on teams formed to improve processes or revise policies in any area of CI. You are expected to work with a team or in support of independent actions by process team leaders, lending his/her experience and expertise in the effort to improve CI processes.
- Proactively pursue completion of training required by the CI Community

Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture
- Ability to complete 80 hours of Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) every two (2) years, in accordance with DoDI 5000.66.
- Registered or Licensed Architect
- 5-10 years experience in relavant field
- Ability to complete the Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE Form 450, on an annual basis to report financial interest as well as other interests outside the government.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance up to and including Secret
