Job Title: Licensed Civil Engineer
Location: Santa Cruz or Santa Rose, CA (Onsite with Hybrid Flexibility)
Salary Range: $110,000 - $170,000 (Realistic starting range: $130,000 - $140,000)
Relocation Assistance: Available for qualified candidates
Duration: Full Time: Permanent
Shift: 8 Hours a day 40 hours a week
Citizenship: USC or Green card Holder
Placement fee: 6%

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Santa Cruz or Santa Rose, CA. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to lead and manage civil engineering projects while actively contributing to the design process. The ideal candidate is a licensed professional in California with a strong background in AutoCAD and Civil 3D and is capable of running a team of engineers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead, manage, and oversee civil engineering projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.
• Actively participate in the design process using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, while mentoring junior engineers.
• Conduct site assessments, prepare technical reports, and provide expert guidance on project specifications.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with expectations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and team members to achieve project goals.

MUST HAVE:

1. Licensed Professional Engineer in California
2. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
3. Team management experience with the ability to lead and actively design using CAD

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to run a team.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant California codes and regulations.
