Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Master's degree in social work from an accredited institution or a bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, or other field related to social work required and working toward master's in social work from an accredited school.
• Certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.
• Demonstrates one (1) or more years of recent social work experience, preferably in a similar health care setting.
• Maintains current CPR Certification from the American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) required or other approved educational programs.
• Current Arizona Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance card (new hires must also complete the application process for this card before being released to their department).
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of MGRMC personnel.
• Ability to evaluate patients for appropriate community service needs or placement.
• Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form required.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive communication with patients and family under stressful situations.
• An understanding of computer systems, process design and data management.
• Required to have the mental and physical ability to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, the essential functions of the job.
• Ability to lift, carry, pull, & push 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of coding process
• Five years' professional clinical experience.
• Working knowledge of Meditech system or equivalent and or ability to learn.
