We are looking for experienced elevator maintenance and modernization technicians with knowledge in both traction and hydraulic elevators. Attendance, punctuality, dependability and commitment are important factors.

• The technician must be able to troubleshoot elevator controllers independently.
• Must know how to read and interpret prints and wiring diagrams.
• Must have the physical and mental ability to install elevator equipment using both hand and power tools.
• Needs to have the ability and confidence to use diagnostic tools such as meters, laptops, handheld programming tools, etc.
• Must be capable of identifying controller & diagnostic problem indicators, interpret problems and corrections through user manuals and technical support.
• Identify safety problems and advise both the company and the building owner.
• Needs to have working knowledge on both the older relay logic and new solid state systems.
• Must be self-motivated seeking continued professional growth.
• Need to be able to communicate clearly with office staff and give a status of work performed, using phones, technology and written word.
• Valid/Clean driver's licenses will be required. We will provide company vehicles but there may be small lag time in the beginning where we may not have a vehicle available (we're in the process of purchasing new ones)
• Medical/dental/vision will be full covered for the EE after 60 days
• NYS Mechanic License required. OSHA30 Preferred but must be willing/able to take the course online and complete within 60 days of hire along with 10hrs required for SST if they don't already have it.
