Licensed Journeyman Electrician Apply
What you will do: Under the supervision of the Electric Shop Supervisor, tests, inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, installs and wires all electrical devices and circuits in the plant. Test, dismantle, repair, and assess any electrical motor. Install cable, conduit, fittings, fixtures, wiring and make connections for new or replacement facilities. Job Requirements: Must have a Journeyman’s License Must have 3-5 years’ relevant experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in the mining industry. Graduate of vocational school with emphasis on basic electricity and electronics -or- equipment training in military service schools. Minimum of four years of on-the-job training. Basic mechanical aptitude. High school graduate -or- equivalent. Good physical condition as position may require bending, kneeling, walking, standing, climbing, stairs and lifting; high degree of manual dexterity and coordination and good eye/hand coordination. Hourly pay rate is $43.40. Currently, we are only able to consider candidates who are U.S. Permanent Residents or U.S. Citizens for this position.
