Job Description
Are you a therapist working in private practice and feel like you are underpaid and have room for growth? Would you like help and support in building your own business and creating a professional network of likeminded clinicians? If so, we would love to interview you!
We are looking for highly motivated individuals that have been working in private practice for 5+ years. The ideal candidate has a full caseload that they are willing to transfer over to work with our practice. We will provide you with business coaching, EHR, administration, and insurance billing. We are offering a 70% split to our fully licensed therapists!
Responsibilities
- Conducting initial consultations to gather patient information
- Assessing patients emotional and mental health and developing treatment plans to meet them
- Asking questions and listening to help patients explore their thoughts and feelings
- Leading patients through mental exercises and role-playing activities when beneficial
- Counseling and advising patients on issues of importance to them
- Intervening with emergency care techniques and protocols when patients are in crisis
- Providing referrals for additional care or services when required
- Maintaining detailed confidential records
- Staying current on training and licensure requirements
- Taking charge of your marketing and client retention
- Learning the ins and outs of insurance billing that could lead to an increase in compensation
Qualifications
- Fully licensed LP, LPC, LMSW in the state of Michigan
- 3+ years in private practice
- Individually insured
- Strong motivation to be independent and self sufficient
- Bonus points if you are familiar with Simple Practice
