Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Location: North Carolina
Setting: Remote/Telehealth
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000 to $120,000 a year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Summary:
This position is ideal for an LMFT who wants to provide consistent virtual support to clients navigating relationship strain, family concerns, and emotional health challenges. The therapist in this role will handle assessments, treatment planning, therapy sessions, and follow-up care. Day-to-day work centers on helping clients make progress through practical, evidence-based therapy delivered online.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver scheduled telehealth counseling sessions
- Assess client concerns and establish clinical goals
- Create and update treatment plans based on client progress
- Provide therapy for couples, families, and individual adults
- Keep detailed, accurate, and compliant clinical records
- Respond appropriately to risk factors and clinical concerns
- Work within established best practices for remote mental health care
Requirements
- Active North Carolina LMFT license in good standing
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field
- Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic documentation systems
- Excellent communication and time management skills
