Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders.
- Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances.
- Meet with patients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress.
- Mental Health Therapist responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients, leading sessions with individuals and groups, and referring clients to specialists as needed.
- Ultimately, you will work directly with patients to counsel them in treating various mental health disorders to lead a healthier lifestyle.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid state license as (LMFT)
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
- Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders
- Strong therapeutic and counseling skills with the ability to motivate clients
Benefits

- $120,000 - $130,000 per-year
- Salary negotiable based on experience
