Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) Needed

Join Gotham Enterprises LTD as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, where you'll support children, teens, and families affected by trauma and abuse. Our range of services, including outpatient and residential programs, is dedicated to nurturing emotional, behavioral, and developmental well-being.

Compensation: $110,000 to $130, 000 per year with benefits

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides counseling and crisis intervention services, including the assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral issues in patients.
  • Collaborates with family members and/or the support system on treatment plans and discharge planning.
  • Communicates patient progress, concerns, and potential issues to physicians.
  • Ensures timely and accurate documentation, including clinical and progress notes, as per department policy.
  • Works with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans, including discharge plans, based on psychosocial assessments and recognized social work interventions.

Requirements

 Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling from an accredited program.

 Current license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) to practice in the state of employment.

 Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting preferred.

 Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and best practices.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.

 Proficient in the use of electronic medical records and related technology.
