Full time Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC)

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Clinical Social Worker with a Mental Health specialtyto join our outpatient clinic. This is a specialty care clinic providing care to our high-risk patients. You will assist patients and families dealing with personal and environmental problems which predispose them to illness, or which interfere with their obtaining maximum benefits from medical care.

Salary Range: $110,000 to $130,000

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Communicates with physicians to report patient progress, needs, concerns, and potential and actual problems.
  • Consult and coordinate with family and/or support system regarding client treatment and discharge planning.
  • Maintains accurate and timely records including clinical and progress notes according to department policy.
  • Works closely with members of the health care team in the development of the plan of treatment, including discharge plans, based on the psychosocial assessment, and accepted social work interventions.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
  • Active California state licensure as LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
  • You have 2 year or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
  • You are well-grounded in and knowledgeable in a variety of empirically supported psychotherapy treatment approaches including, but not limited to, cognitive and behavioral, postmodern/post-structural, social-constructionism, and narrative therapy.
  • You have a commitment to providing exceptional client care and using client feedback to improve care.
  • You are open minded desire to learn from other professional disciplines and knowledge bases as well as local knowledge of colleagues and families we serve.
