Full-time Job Opportunities for Licensed Mental Health Therapist

As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play an instrumental role in delivering effective counseling services, conducting thorough assessments, developing tailored treatment plans, and maintaining comprehensive clinical records. Your contributions will be essential in shaping the future of mental health care in our community.

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday 8 AM – 5 PM

SALARY: $120,000 to $130,000 per year with benefits

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs a variety of patient care and therapeutic activities
  • Formulates programs/groups for treatment and rehabilitation of psychiatric patients.
  • Monitors outcomes as a member of the team
  • Participates in continuity of care and/or discharge planning. Facilitates advance care planning.
  •  Develop individual treatment plans based on psychiatric diagnosis, identified problems, and treatment needs for each case.
  • Documents patient care activity in institutional electronic healthcare record in accordance with departmental documentation policy.

Requirements

Job Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health, or related field. (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW)
  • Active licensure in the state of California.
  • You have 2 year or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
  • You are well-grounded in and knowledgeable in a variety of empirically supported psychotherapy treatment approaches including, but not limited to, cognitive and behavioral, postmodern/post-structural, social-constructionism, and narrative therapy.
  • You have a commitment to providing exceptional client care and using client feedback to improve care.
  • You are open minded desire to learn from other professional disciplines and knowledge bases as well as local knowledge of colleagues and families we serve.
