Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW)

Location: Algood, TN
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary Range: $115,000 – $120,000 per year

Job Summary
In this role, you will serve as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor providing structured, telehealth-based care to clients who are seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stress, and other mental health concerns. A typical day involves scheduled sessions, assessments, documentation, and coordinated care with other professionals, all from a secure remote workspace.

What You’ll Do

• Provide individual and, where appropriate, couples/family therapy via video sessions
• Conduct thorough initial assessments and diagnostic evaluations
• Create measurable treatment plans and update them as clients progress
• Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when necessary
• Maintain clear, organized, and compliant clinical documentation
• Collaborate with internal and external providers for integrated care
• Attend regular supervision or consultation meetings as required by the organization or licensure

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
• Active Tennessee license as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW (independent licensure strongly preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience in outpatient or community mental health
• Experience providing psychotherapy via telehealth is a plus
• Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Comfortable working with electronic health records and maintaining timely documentation
