Job SummaryWe are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our Child Team Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Fremont, CA. In this role, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention services for child and adult members. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with a wide range of mental health needs.
Essential Responsibilities- Develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate clinical treatment programs for members with acute or chronic mental illness.
- Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
- Prepare intake summaries, treatment plans, and case summaries, maintaining confidential records.
- Collaborate with physicians in screening and evaluating patients for psychotropic medications.
- Utilize resources from public and private agencies to support members' treatment plans.
- Participate in staff conferences to plan and evaluate treatment programs.
- Provide consultation to other care providers on matters related to mental health.
- Supervise Post Masters Fellows, Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage Family Therapists, or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors, if qualified.
- Participate in departmental program development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Report safety concerns to mandated reporting agencies.
- License: Must have a valid California license as one of the following:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with Couples and Families Endorsement within 24 months of hire
- Must be available to work onsite at least two days per week.
- Must be eligible to see Medicare patients.
- Experience working with children in a therapeutic setting.
- Knowledge of DSM-V for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Several years of licensed experience in an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) setting.
- Experience with crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy.
- Strong ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Commitment to quality service, teamwork, and a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
- Salary: $81,667 $91,204 per year
- Additional Compensation: Potential sign-on bonus of up to $5,000.
