Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 per year | Full Benefits | W2

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our integrated primary care team in Oakland. The therapist will provide short-term (10–12 sessions), solution-focused therapy to adults with mild to moderate mental health concerns. This role collaborates closely with medical providers to support coordinated, whole-person care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide evidence-based therapy such as CBT, behavioral activation, and problem-solving therapy.
  • Collaborate with primary care teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Screen adults and older adults for behavioral health needs, trauma, and substance use.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational groups and make appropriate referrals.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and care coordination activities.

Requirements

  • Master’s in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
  • Current California licensure as an LCSW or Psychologist, or registration as ASW/AMFT (supervision provided).
  • Minimum one year of clinical experience.
  • Familiarity with DSM-5 and evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems (OCHIN Epic preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in integrated or community health care.
  • Training in trauma-informed care.
  • Spanish language fluency is a plus.
