Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our senior care facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in long-term care management, with a strong background in assisted living, nursing home administration, and dementia care. This leadership role requires a compassionate professional dedicated to providing exceptional resident care, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a positive environment for residents and staff alike.
Duties
- Manage overall facility operations, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to residents’ individual needs, including Alzheimer’s and memory care services
- Supervise nursing staff, caregivers, and support personnel to ensure high-quality resident care
- Oversee medication administration and ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and families to promote resident well-being
- Maintain accurate documentation related to resident health records, incident reports, and regulatory compliance
- Lead quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within the facility
- Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, resource allocation, and operational efficiency
- Foster a compassionate environment that supports residents’ dignity and independence while addressing their complex health needs
Skills
- Proven leadership experience in senior care settings such as retirement homes, group homes, or long-term care facilities
- Extensive knowledge of assisted living, nursing home operations, dementia care, and memory care management
- Strong understanding of care plans development and implementation for residents with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments
- Excellent management skills with experience supervising multidisciplinary teams
- Financial acumen with budgeting and operational management expertise
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and safety standards in healthcare environments
- Effective communication skills for working with residents’ families, healthcare providers, staff, and community partners
- Ability to navigate regulatory requirements related to long-term care facilities and home & community care services
