Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our senior care facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in long-term care management, with a strong background in assisted living, nursing home administration, and dementia care. This leadership role requires a compassionate professional dedicated to providing exceptional resident care, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a positive environment for residents and staff alike.

Duties

  • Manage overall facility operations, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to residents’ individual needs, including Alzheimer’s and memory care services
  • Supervise nursing staff, caregivers, and support personnel to ensure high-quality resident care
  • Oversee medication administration and ensure adherence to safety protocols
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and families to promote resident well-being
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to resident health records, incident reports, and regulatory compliance
  • Lead quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within the facility
  • Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, resource allocation, and operational efficiency
  • Foster a compassionate environment that supports residents’ dignity and independence while addressing their complex health needs

Skills

  • Proven leadership experience in senior care settings such as retirement homes, group homes, or long-term care facilities

  • Strong understanding of care plans development and implementation for residents with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments
  • Excellent management skills with experience supervising multidisciplinary teams
  • Financial acumen with budgeting and operational management expertise
