Overview Holdenville General Hospital is seeking a compassionate, team-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (FULL TIME) to support our Med/Surg unit. This role is ideal for an LPN who enjoys a broad scope of practice, close collaboration with RNs and providers, and caring for patients across the lifespan. Responsibilities Provide safe, age-appropriate nursing care within the LPN scope under RN/provider direction. Perform focused assessments and report changes in patient condition. Administer medications and treatments per policy; start/monitor IVs per state scope and hospital policy. Support admissions, discharges, and patient/family education. Complete accurate, timely documentation in the EHR. Assist with specimen collection, wound care, catheter care, and basic telemetry monitoring. Promote a clean, safe environment and follow infection-prevention practices. Qualifications Required: Current LPN license in good standing (state of Oklahoma or compact). BLS certification. Preferred: Experience in critical access/rural hospital settings; ability to cross-train to Swing Bed. EHR proficiency (e.g., Cerner, Epic, Meditech). Strong teamwork, reliability, and professionalism. Excellent communication and patient-service skills. Sound clinical judgment and attention to detail in a fast-moving, small-team environment.
