Each day at our licensed healthcare centers across Virginia, our teams of compassionate and capable healthcare professionals work together to deliver competent, high-quality healthcare services that enhance the lives of those we serve. We are currently seeking a dedicated LPN to join our team for a 12-hour night shift position and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

How You Will Make a Difference

• Observe and monitor residents during the night shift, document and report any changes in their condition, including adverse reactions to medications or treatments, and take appropriate action.
• Administer prescribed medications, including intravenous fluids, and document the times and amounts on patient records.
• Provide basic nursing care, such as taking vital signs (temperature, blood pressure), dressing wounds, and managing bedsores.
• Collect samples and perform routine laboratory tests as necessary.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and maintaining personal hygiene.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications You Will Need

• Licensure: Must hold a current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Virginia.
• Education: Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care or rehabilitation, is highly desired.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, move, and assist patients, and meet the physical demands of the position.
• CPR and First Aid Certification: Must be current and maintained throughout employment.
• Shift Availability: Must be available for a 12-hour night shift, including weekends and holidays as needed.
