Overview Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Women’s Intake Center Are you a skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) searching for a unique and rewarding career? Current state employees are not eligible for recruitment payments upon transfer, demotion, or promotion to another agency. We value work/life balance with 10-hour shifts and structured days off. The current available shift is 1pm–11pm with days off assigned including every other weekend. Key Responsibilities Assist in patient and staff health appraisals and conduct health clinics. Perform physical examinations, document patient visits, and assist in patient record management. Collaborate with interdisciplinary health teams to address patient needs, including mental health interventions and medication administration. Respond to medical emergencies alongside RNs and provide hands-on care and support. Maintain and prepare medical supplies, assist with lab services (e.g., UA’s, EKGs), and support telemedicine and x-ray services. Ensure proper medication administration, accountability, and documentation following institutional policies. Ideal Candidate Qualities Dependable, adaptable, compassionate and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communicator who collaborates well with other team members. High attention to detail in patient care and documentation. Professional and committed to continuing education and best practices in nursing.
