*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and demonstrate exceptional clinical skills. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in our long-term care facility. Your responsibilities will include assisting with patient assessments, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. *Responsibilities* * Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. * Conduct patient assessments and document medical histories. * Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions. * Assist with wound care, catheterization, IV infusion, and other medical procedures. * Perform vital sign checks and maintain accurate medical records. * Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. * Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention. * Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information. * Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services. *Qualifications* * Valid LPN license in the state of Missouri. * Strong clinical skills in areas such as triage, medication administration, phlebotomy, and basic life support. * Experience working with diverse populations including individuals with developmental disabilities or Alzheimers/dementia care is a plus. * Ability to perform physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations effectively. * Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. * Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to nursing best practices.
