Full-time Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

Our outpatient clinic is seeking a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who is passionate about helping individuals and families. In this role, you will perform thorough evaluations, design personalized treatment strategies, and offer ongoing support through counseling. Your work will significantly impact the lives of clients seeking mental health support in our community.

Salary Range: $110,000 to $130,000

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Delivers counseling and crisis intervention for patients, assessing and treating various emotional and behavioral problems.
  • Consults and coordinates with families or support systems regarding client treatment and discharge plans.
  • Communicates with physicians to relay information about patient progress, needs, concerns, and any potential or real issues.
  • Ensures accurate and timely documentation, including clinical and progress notes, in line with department policy.
  • Collaborates with healthcare team members to formulate treatment and discharge plans based on psychosocial assessments and accepted social work strategies.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from an accredited program.
  • Active California state licensure as LPCC.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient setting.
  • Knowledgeable about cultural differences and their impact on mental health, striving to provide inclusive and sensitive care to diverse populations.
  • You have a commitment to providing exceptional client care and using client feedback to improve care.
  • You are open minded desire to learn from other professional disciplines and knowledge bases as well as local knowledge of colleagues and families we serve.
