Full-time Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor to join our outpatient clinic team. In this position, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions to clients of all ages. Your expertise will be crucial in addressing mental health needs and fostering positive outcomes for our community.

Salary Range: $110,000 to $130,000

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Provides counseling and crisis intervention for patients, assessing and treating emotional and behavioral issues.
  • Consults and collaborates with family members and support systems regarding treatment and discharge planning for clients.
  • Communicates with physicians to update them on patient progress, needs, concerns, and any potential or existing issues.
  • Keeps accurate and timely records, including clinical notes and progress reports, in accordance with departmental policies.
  • Collaborates closely with healthcare team members to develop treatment plans and discharge strategies based on psychosocial assessments and standard social work interventions.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from an accredited program.
  • Active California state licensure as LPCC.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient setting.
  • Well-versed in a variety of empirically supported psychotherapy approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy.
  • You have a commitment to providing exceptional client care and using client feedback to improve care.
  • Committed to delivering exceptional client care by actively listening to client needs and adapting treatment plans accordingly.
