Full-time Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

We are searching for a dedicated Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor to enhance our outpatient clinic. In this position, you will assess client needs, develop tailored treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapy to a diverse clientele. Your expertise will be essential in guiding clients through their mental health challenges and improving their quality of life.

Salary Range: $110,000 to $130,000

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Provides crisis intervention and counseling for patients, including the assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral issues.
  • Coordinates with family and/or support systems to facilitate client treatment and discharge planning.
  • Reports to physicians on patient progress, needs, concerns, and any potential or existing issues.
  • Maintains accurate and timely documentation, including clinical notes and progress reports, per department policy.
  • Works closely with the healthcare team to develop treatment and discharge plans informed by psychosocial assessments and recognized social work methods.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from an accredited program.
  • Active California state licensure as LPCC.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient setting.
  • You are well-grounded in and knowledgeable in a variety of empirically supported psychotherapy treatment approaches including, but not limited to, cognitive and behavioral, postmodern/post-structural, social-constructionism, and narrative therapy.
  • You have a commitment to providing exceptional client care and using client feedback to improve care.
  • You are open minded desire to learn from other professional disciplines and knowledge bases as well as local knowledge of colleagues and families we serve.
