Our family-oriented team is committed to providing state-of-the-art veterinary care while maintaining respect, support, and continued education. We offer a complete range of veterinary services, including vaccinations, annual visits, routine surgery, and integrative and alternative medicine services such as Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and cold laser therapy.

The Pumpkin Hill Veterinary Clinic team is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team of dedicated animal healthcare professionals. As an LVT at Pumpkin Hill Veterinary Clinic, you will work closely with our veterinarians and support staff to provide exceptional care to our patients and their owners.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians with animal exams, surgeries, and other medical procedures
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and radiography
  • Educate clients on animal care, nutrition, and disease prevention
  • Monitor patients during and after medical procedures and report any changes in their condition
  • Maintain medical records and ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

  • Active Veterinary Technician license or certification required.
  • Open to newly credentialed technicians.
  • 1+ years of Veterinary Technician experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Interest or openness to alternative medicine services.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
