  • Ability to apply good clinical judgment, plan work, establish priorities and maintain flexibility. 
  • Proficient written and verbal skills. 
  • Ability to instruct and teach.
  • Ability to use a computer proficiently.

Education: 

  • Graduate from an approved Licensed Vocational Nursing program with an associates or equivalent degree. 
  • Current California LVN license or interim permit for LVN. 
  • Current CPR certification.

Requirements

  • Prepares patients for examinations and assists clinical staff with examination procedures.
  • Takes accurate vital signs, performs necessary lab work, and ensures that proper documentation is included in the patient’s record prior to providers visit.
  • Notes appropriate history and reason for visit including:  prenatal, immunization, smoking, medical history
  • Updates allergy and medication list.
  • Updates allergy and medication list.
