Licensed Vocational Nurse Apply
Job Summary:
This position is for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) in a Long-Term Care facility. The LVN/LPN will be responsible for providing appropriate nursing care as directed by a Registered Nurse, including gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active LVN/LPN license in the state of assignment.
- BLS certification.
- Previous travel experience.
- Long Term Care experience.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience.
- Experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Comfort level working with vents/trachs/PICC lines.
- Two years of experience in direct patient care.

Special Considerations:
- Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs.
- Must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 major Winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years).
- Traveler can be called off for one 12-hour shift per 2 weeks.
- The facility will arrange for a vehicle for traveler to use while on assignment.

Scheduling:
- 4x12 or 3x12 Variable shifts (traveler's choice).
- Shifts will be either Days or Nights, dependent on facility needs at the time of start date.
- Guaranteed Hours: 60 Hours per 2 weeks.
