Financial Grade is a leading Field Marketing Organization (FMO), and our Senior Consultants provide licensed independent Medicare insurance agents with our FMO tools and guidance needed to succeed in the Medicare market.
Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting agents in the insurance industry? Were looking for a Licensing and Contracting Specialist to join our growing team. This role is key in ensuring our agents and representatives are properly contracted, licensed, and supported while helping to build strong partnerships that fuel our success.
What Youll Do
In this role, youll be the go-to resource for our internal and external agents. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing contracting for all internal and external agents
- Following up on lead inquiries
- Ensuring all in-house representatives maintain active and up-to-date licenses
- Onboarding new agents
- Acquiring and maintaining state licenses and carrier appointments
- Assisting with agent certifications and compliance requirements
- Acting as the first point of contact for agent questions, concerns, and needs
- Fulfilling agent orders and coordinating kit shipments
- Communicating carrier updates, training opportunities, and scheduling webinars
- Supporting agent events, conferences, and relationship-building initiatives
- Serving as a liaison between agents, carriers, and company leadership
- Maintaining accurate records, activity logs, and training manuals
- Providing exceptional customer service to agents and clients
What Were Looking For
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once. You should be a strong communicator who enjoys building relationships and solving problems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree OR 3+ years of related experience (or a combination of both)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
- Experience with AgencyBloc, insurance carrier portals, Nipr, AgentSync, Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of the insurance industry a plus (but not required)
