Job Description:
Seeking a LiDAR Processing Professional to support advanced surveying and engineering projects. Responsibilities include registering, geo-referencing, and optimizing LiDAR datasets collected from terrestrial, aerial, hydrographic, and mobile platforms. The role involves scan-to-scan and cloud-to-cloud registration, point cloud classification, feature extraction, surface model creation (DTMs/DSMs/TINs), and integrating deliverables into Civil 3D and MicroStation. Additional duties include applying survey control and geodetic principles, performing QA/QC checks, supporting field teams, and assisting with workflow development and training.
Required Skills:

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, GIS, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

3+ years of professional LiDAR processing experience

Proficiency in at least two: Cyclone, Reg360, RiScan, LP360, DJI Terra, Civil 3D, MicroStation, TopoDOT

Strong understanding of survey control networks, GNSS/IMU integration, and coordinate systems

Ability to produce engineering-grade deliverables (planimetrics, topography, breaklines, cross-sections)

Experience handling multi-gigabyte LiDAR datasets and performing QA/QC

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Valid driver's license
Preferred Skills:

Experience with UAV or terrestrial LiDAR sensors (DJI L2, Riegl, Leica)

Drone pilot license

Experience with machine learning for automated classification

PLS/PS license or LSIT certification
