While much has changed throughout the last four decades, the mission of our organization has stayed the same: to provide caring and professional advocacy and support services to individuals with developmental, physical, or emotional disabilities while assisting the individuals in achieving his or her highest level of well-being consistent with the circumstances and resources available, and with appropriate consideration of family desires.

Position Description:
The Life Care Plan Coordinator is responsible for record maintenance, client advocacy, and inter-agency communications. The Life Care Plan Coordinator will be assigned a specified case load and represent Arcare as a corporate guardian, life care manager, and advocate for individuals with disabilities that are enrolled in the Arcare Life Care Plan Program. This is a full- time position, generally M-F, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., hours may vary.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent listening skills
  • Excellent written language skills
  • Ability to communicate with, have patience with and compassion for individuals with disabilities
  • Ability to work within budgets
  • Organizational skills for maintaining client files and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to use email, texts, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, Zoom.

Benefits:
Full time position, excellent benefit package including medical/dental, paid leave, and retirement program.

Position Requirements:

  • A bachelors degree in social work or related field is required.
  • Employment experience in related field may be considered if the educational requirements are not met.
  • Valid drivers license and good driving record
  • Weekend on-call shifts may be required
