Summary:
-
Rework SMT components and perform modifications as per Engineering Change Orders.
-
Inspect assemblies to meet IPC-A-610 quality standards and identify common component and soldering defects.
-
Perform detailed work on component boards, including fine-pitch soldering on SMT components.
-
Utilize BOM, Engineering Change Orders, and work orders to ensure product accuracy and quality.

Remove and replace PTH and SMT components, including resistors, capacitors, diodes, ICs, switches, and connectors.

Follow standard work documentation and procedures to rework product units and ensure quality.

Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure product verification and quality.

Regular attendance and ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced, quality-oriented environment.
Required Skills:
-
Experience with SMT fine-pitch components (lead width < 50 mil) and rework of PTH and SMT components.

Knowledge of IPC-A-610 quality standards and soldering defects.

Ability to read and work with BOMs, Engineering Change Orders, and work orders.

Proficient in using fine-pitch soldering techniques and identifying common component defects.

Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Access).

Strong attention to detail in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Experience working with flux and PCB cleaning techniques.
