JOB TITLE: Light Industrial Machinist

LOCATION: Archbald, PA

PAY RATE: $23.49 per hour

Summary:

• Operate plain or universal, horizontal, or vertical milling machines to perform precision machining operations such as compound angles, contours, helical/spiral milling, boring compound angular holes, serrating, and gear, spline, and keyway cutting to strict tolerances.

• Setting up and operating milling machines, selecting and mounting specialized attachments and tooling, and planning the sequence of operations.

• Determining and adjusting speeds, feeds, and depth of cuts.

• Interpreting blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications.

• Using machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments to perform tasks.

• Performing standard shop computations and marking dimensions and reference points for machining.

• Monitoring and verifying quality in accordance with statistical process controls or other methods.

• Stock cutting saw

• Large Pracico wash station

• Burr bench work

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma (no degree required)

• First shift hours: 5:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday (4x10 schedule)

• On-site interviews will be conducted by the manager for this position.
