Role Description
This full-time, seasonal role as a Line Cook is based on-site at Elk River Club in Banner Elk, NC. Our season is May 1 through October 31. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing meals according to set recipes and ensuring high quality and presentation standards. Daily duties include food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen, monitoring inventory, and collaborating with the culinary team to provide exceptional dining experiences for club members.
Qualifications
- Experience in meal preparation, cooking techniques, and food presentation
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and kitchen cleanliness practices
- Ability to manage time efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen or high-end dining establishment is preferred
- Culinary certification or training is a plus
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle high-temperature cooking environments
