The Bier Haus is looking for an experienced Cook to join our fun, and relaxed working environment.

Summary

In the role of a Cook, you will be essential in delivering high-quality meals and ensuring a smooth kitchen operation - while following safe food handling policies, procedures, and recipes. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will utilize your core skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal preparation to create delicious dishes that meet our standards. Your experience in the food industry and culinary expertise will be vital in maintaining kitchen efficiency and safety. The cook also contributes to the success by executing tasks required to prepare all menu items with emphasis on quality, appearance, speed, portioning, and food safety. Additionally, this position will ensure that the kitchen area, walk-in, storage area, prep area and freezer are clean, sanitary, and well organized.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or culinary setting
  • Strong food handling and service skills
  • Familiarity with dietary department operations and menu planning
  • Excellent knife skills and meal preparation techniques
  • Previous experience in dining and catering environments
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen atmosphere
