Role Description
The Lake Charles Country Club is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Line Cook / Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality dining experiences for our members through consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail in both prep and service. Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and handling kitchen equipment.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and best practices in kitchen operations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
- High level of organization and multitasking skills to manage multiple orders and ensure timely service.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes or techniques as needed.
- Culinary education or relevant certifications in food preparation are a plus.
- Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is highly desirable.
