Role Description


The Lake Charles Country Club is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Line Cook / Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality dining experiences for our members through consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail in both prep and service. Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and handling kitchen equipment.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and best practices in kitchen operations.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
  • High level of organization and multitasking skills to manage multiple orders and ensure timely service.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes or techniques as needed.
  • Culinary education or relevant certifications in food preparation are a plus.
  • Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is highly desirable.
