As a Linux & NOC Admin (Cloud Operations Engineer) at a cloud software company, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network and server solutions. You will also provide 24/7 operational support to the Network Operations Center.The applicant needs to hold a national or EU passport, have a valid work authorization, and be within a commutable distance. The successful candidate will be subjected to background verification in compliance with the national legislation and market standards.If you don’t have direct experience yet but have a solid technical background in NOC and Linux, we still encourage you to apply. The company offers comprehensive training to help you get up to speed.Key responsibilities include:Monitoring, configuring, and troubleshooting daily operations of servers and network equipmentCollaborating closely with the Data Center Manager on project schedulingManagement of various infrastructure components such as DNS/ DHCP/ NTP/ Proxy/ OS Image Servers / Load BalancersSupporting ad hoc project workWork Schedule:24/7 shift modelMorning Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Monday to Friday)Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PMNight Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AMShifts rotate weeklySunday night shifts includedTwo consecutive days off after Friday shiftsRequirements:0 to 3 years of NOC experienceGood knowledge of Linux OS and cloud infrastructure components like virtualization, Load Balancers, etcGood network analytics and troubleshooting skills using packet capture and other monitoring toolsKnowledge of basic networking concepts like VLAN, NAT, ARP, basic FW, and Switch configurationExperience with network operating systems such as firewalls, switches, routers, etcNice to have:Hands-on experience with internet routing protocols and concepts of TCP/IP, BGP & OSPFGood working knowledge of IP networking fundamentals and strong basic knowledge of L2 switching and L3 routingKnowledge of server hardware components like CPU, RAM, different types of drives, NIC, etcBenefits:Competitive salary package aligned with the candidate's qualifications, experience, and the market value of the roleNS Business CardCompany Pension SchemeMacBook, mobile, and paid SIMCompany-provided lunchReimbursement of approved business expensesSupportive and inclusive work environmentParticipation in coaching and mentoring schemes
