Seeking a Linux System Administrator for an Onsite Role in San Diego, CA . One of our newest clients is looking for a Linux System Administrator with a Secret Clearance, 4+ years of experience with Linux Systems, and one year of experience with RH OpenShift or similar technology.
Positi Summary: HRUCKUS seeks a candidate to provide Linux System Administration on the Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) network supporting a US Government Customer.
Position Description: The selected candidate will be the lead System Administrator (on a team of 2 to 3 admins). They will manage physical and virtual Linux servers supporting a new Fleet program to develop a remote update process for CANES systems onboard USN vessels.
This position is 100% onsite.

- Linux system administration for client and server operating systems, including web application servers, such as CentOS and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Configuration of OpenShift and management of container-based applications
- Creation and management of virtual servers using ESXi
- Script Ansible playbooks
- Bash scripting
- Application of STIGs
- Interpreting ACAS and performing mitigation of vulnerabilities found by ACAS scan
- Development and writing of processes and procedures, SOPs, and similar documentation
- Basic Windows server administration
