Litigation Associate - Construction & Public Works (Hybrid - Whittier) Apply
Job Description
Stop the DTLA/Irvine Commute.
Join a premier boutique firm specializing in high-stakes Public Works and School Facility litigation. The firm offers the complexity of Big Law cases with the culture and convenience of a Whittier headquarters.
Salary: Starting at $165,000 + Profit Sharing & 100% Employer-Paid Family Benefits.
The Role: Impact, Not Just Paperwork
Forget the generic "drafting pleadings" list. Construction litigators want to know they won't just be doing research memos for five years.
- Direct Case Ownership: You aren't a cog. You will lead depositions, argue motions, and interface directly with school districts and public agency clients.
- Public Impact: Help build the infrastructure of Southern California by resolving complex disputes on multi-million dollar public projects.
What You Bring
- The Experience: 3+ years in Civil Litigation (Construction experience is a massive plus, but we will train a strong general litigator who is ready to pivot).
- The Credentials: Active CA Bar License.
- The Mindset: You enjoy the "puzzle" of construction law, contracts, site disputes, and project management.
The "Why Us" (The 2026 Competitive Package)
- Hybrid Flexibility: 3 days in office / 2 days remote—proven and supported.
- Unrivaled Benefits: 100% employer-paid health/vision for you and your dependents. (Most firms charge for dependents, highlight this!)
- Reclaim Your Life: No billable hour "death marches." We value high-quality work and a sustainable lifestyle.
