This position will play an instrumental role in driving the firm's success by providing exceptional legal services to clients and working on a variety of complex and challenging matters. Responsibilities Handle a wide range of litigation matters including product liability, premises liability, commercial litigation, and insurance defense. Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and manage the discovery process. Conduct depositions and develop and implement litigation strategies to achieve optimal outcomes for clients. Work closely with partners and other associates to prepare and try cases. Provide legal advice to clients and advise on risk management. Participate in business development efforts, including client meetings and networking events. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting clients and the legal profession. Adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the Texas State Bar. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation attorney with a focus on product liability, premises liability, commercial litigation, or insurance defense. Proven track record of successfully litigating cases and managing client relationships. Exceptional legal research, analytical, and writing skills. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. High degree of professional ethics and integrity. Experience with legal research tools and e‑discovery platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
