Job Overview



Our Client is seeking a Business Litigation Associate with 5–7 years of experience to join their dynamic team. This role offers direct involvement in complex commercial disputes, mentorship from senior practitioners, and the chance to make a real impact for clients across industries. You’ll benefit from a collaborative, supportive environment while building your professional profile through client engagement, networking, and leadership.



Compensation & Benefits:


  • $140,000–$150,000 based on experience
  • 1,500 minimum annual billable hours
  • 3 weeks paid vacation + 1 week sick leave annually
  • 12 paid holidays per year
  • Health, vision, and dental insurance (75% employer‑paid premium)
  • Limited hybrid flexibility based on firm needs



Responsibilities:


  • Manage full case handling responsibilities from inception through settlement/end of representation.
  • Draft and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, memoranda of law, and correspondence.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze case-specific legal issues and documentation.
  • Attend depositions, prepare witnesses for depositions, handle court hearings, and handle trials as necessary and assigned.
  • Prepare discovery responses and manage discovery-related deadlines.
  • Effectively take or monitor statements of clients or third parties.
  • Consult with clients and other parties as needed to effectively move cases forward and to resolution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.



Qualifications:


  • 5–7 years of business litigation experience (trial experience strongly preferred)
  • Licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar
  • Graduate of an accredited law school
  • Strong oral advocacy, writing, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and client relationship management
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
