Position OverviewWe are seeking a Litigation Attorney with at least five years of experience to join our team in Glendale, CA. This attorney will manage a caseload of business and real estate litigation matters, including contract disputes, partnership/shareholder actions, and commercial real estate conflicts.
The ideal candidate will be a strong advocate in court, a precise writer, and a strategic advisor capable of handling cases from inception through resolution.
What You'll Do- Represent clients in business and real estate litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, mediations/arbitrations, and trial preparation
- Draft clear, persuasive, and well-researched motions, briefs, and correspondence
- Develop and implement case strategies, budgets, and timelines
- Advise clients on risks, strategy, and likely outcomes while maintaining consistent communication
- Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and motion arguments
- Collaborate with paralegals and junior attorneys to ensure efficient case progress
- Maintain accurate daily time entries in Clio Manage
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active member of the California State Bar in good standing
- Minimum 5 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in business and/or real estate disputes
- Strong experience in discovery, depositions, and motion practice; trial experience (first or second chair) preferred
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
- Proficiency in Clio Manage or similar case management software
- Base Salary with additional performance-based earning potential
- Billable Expectation: Minimum of 1,600 billable hours annually, with substantial earning potential for those who exceed expectations and contribute to firm growth
