Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Litigation Paralegal position based in Glen Allen, VA. The Litigation Paralegal will handle his/her own caseload and support attorneys in drafting pleadings and motions, drafting and reviewing discovery, subpoenaing, reviewing and summarizing records into chronologies, working with expert witnesses, coordinating hearings and depositions, ensuring deadlines are met, and managing litigation calendars. We are a defense litigation firm so prior experience with timekeeping is essential. The successful candidate will play an integral role in efficient case management and delivering excellent client service.


Qualifications

• Experience in record gathering and

drafting chronologies

  • Experience in drafting and managing pleadings and motions
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in litigation and a strong understanding of court procedures and processes
  • Experience with recording time
