Litigation Paralegal

About the Role:

As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting attorneys through all phases of personal injury litigation-from case inception through trial and final disbursement. You will work closely with a skilled legal team, manage complex case files, and contribute directly to the preparation and execution of high-impact litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with attorneys to develop legal arguments and prepare pleadings, motions, and other litigation filings
• Draft, respond to, and manage discovery requests and responses
• Request, review, organize, and summarize medical records and medical bills
• Handle e-filing of pleadings and court documents in compliance with deadlines
• Prepare correspondence with clients, courts, medical providers, and opposing counsel
• Assist with trial preparation, including:

• Organizing exhibits
• Lining up witnesses
• Preparing jury instructions, voir dire questions, verdict sheets, and trial binders

• Prepare cases for settlement and final disbursement

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal
• Hands-on experience handling:
  • Premises liability
  • Automobile accidents
  • Construction accidents
  • Municipal liability cases
• Experience managing cases from inception through trial
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Proficiency with legal database software, tasking systems, and Microsoft Office
• Paralegal Certificate or equivalent practical experience preferred
• Applicants without relevant personal injury litigation experience will not be considered

Compensation:

• Salary: $70,000 $80,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
