Camino Real Community Service is on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Live Chat Agent to join our committed team. In this role, you will be the first line of support for our clients, providing timely and effective assistance via live chat. Our mission is to ensure that every individual seeking our services feels supported and understood, and as a Live Chat Agent, you will play a crucial role in achieving this. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with clients, answer their inquiries, and guide them through our services and resources with warmth and professionalism. You will also be expected to document interactions, troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex cases to the appropriate departments when necessary. We are looking for someone who is not only tech-savvy but also possesses strong interpersonal skills, as you will be representing our organization and its values in every conversation.


Responsibilities

  • Respond to client inquiries through live chat in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide information about our services, resources, and eligibility requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common issues clients may encounter.
  • Maintain detailed records of chat interactions, ensuring proper documentation of problems and resolutions.
  • Assist in onboarding new clients by guiding them through the registration and service selection processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and company policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
  • Prior experience in customer service, preferably in a chat support role.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and empathetically.
  • Familiarity with live chat software and customer relationship management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Ability to manage multiple chats and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong commitment to providing exceptional service and support to clients.
