Our company’s culture supports customers in achieving their financial goals and dreams. Job Duties Serve as the bank liaison with various legal firms when documents are prepared by outside counsel. Review UCC searches and filings to determine lien position. Review title commitments/policies to determine clear lien conveyance and perfection. Ensure loans are closed according to the approved terms and conditions within the Loan Approval Memorandum. Review and assess whether loans submitted for processing have the appropriate approval authority. Review loan documents to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures. Keep abreast of related industry and professional trends and products and services to ensure the current and future effectiveness and profitability of the bank’s services, policies, staff proficiencies and processes as they relate to assigned areas of responsibilities. Approve draw requests for large Lines of Credit and Construction/Development lines to ensure proper inspections have been performed and over-funding has not occurred. Work towards and assist in the positive image and growth of the bank. Comply with all federal, state and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures. Complete and pass all required regulatory compliance training as assigned. Perform other special projects or tasks as assigned in the Lending area. About You Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent - required 1 year of experience with commercial loan documentation with a financial institution or law firm - required Sound knowledge of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Strong knowledge of compliance with Federal and State regulations pertaining to the banking industry - required Strong knowledge of lending products and services. Self motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to handle high pressure situations. Good organizational, planning, time management and project management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Excellent written, communication and customer relations skills. Ability to set strategic goals and ensure high quality of products and services. Work location Guaranty Bank and Trust in Paris, TX. Must live within 30 minutes of the location listed below. Address: 3250 Lamar Ave, Paris, TX 75460 Work Schedule Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm with a 1-hour lunch break. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to: sit; use hands in repetitive motions to finger, grasp, handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to: stand; walk; and lift or reach with hands and arms. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
