In the role of a full-time Loan Officer, you will be responsible for assisting members in reaching their financial goals.

Responsibilities:

• Gather personal and financial data from applicants as it pertains to each loan application.
• Calculate debt-to-income ratios, percentage of unsecured debt and collateral value as it pertains to each application.
• Verify accuracy of loan application data, including verification of income, length of employment, references, and value of collateral.
• Communicating with members regarding loan products, policies, and requirements.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• A minimum of six months loan processing experience required
• Excellent interpersonal and member service skills
• Previous bank or credit union experience required
• Underwriting experience preferred
• Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
