We serve customers in 59 locations throughout the West.We are in search of a Loan Specialist I or Loan Specialist II to join our Credit Resolution Team in Tulare or Rocklin, California. This full-time position reports to the Manager of Credit Resolution and this role is accountable for providing support to service distressed accounts and/or high-profile loans.After an initial in-office training period, this position is eligible for workplace flexibility and a one-time home office stipend. Employees are expected to continue working from their office location a minimum of 50% or 60% of the time depending on location.Compensation InformationThe base salary range for this position in Rocklin, California is:Level I: Typical starting range: $46,200 - $59,500 Full base salary: $46,200 - $66,200 Annual performance-based incentive at target is 6% of base.Level II: Typical starting range: $50,400 - $67,300 Full base salary: $50,400 - $75,700 Annual performance-based incentive at target is 6% of base.The base salary range for this position in Tulare, California is:Level I: Typical starting range: $44,200 - $57,500 Full base salary: $44,200 - $64,200 Annual performance-based incentive at target is 6% of base.Level II: Typical starting range: $48,400 - $64,500 Full base salary: $48,400 - $72,600 Annual performance-based incentive at target is 6% of base.Job RequirementsPerform routine credit activities and provide administrative support to support effective customer service through loan servicing, the extension of sound, constructive credit, and related services.Assist the account team in completing financial and loan input documents, verifying customer information, and completing credit investigations and analysis for review and action by risk management.Comply with closing requirements and disbursements; book and certify loans within authorities.Respond to customer inquiries and process customer transactions including checks and receipts, future payment funds, etc.Perform intermediate to advanced administrative functions that include but are not limited to utilizing the MS Office 365 suite and establishing and maintaining files in a digital format.Ensure customer information is handled with a high degree of confidentiality.Ensure appropriate information security protocols are followed in order to prevent unauthorized transactions.Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.Other duties as assigned.Minimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to produce accurate reports, documents, and correspondence through attention to detail and knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and sentence structureExceptional customer service orientationAbility to work efficiently and effectively on multiple projects in multiple software programsProven ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlinesSolid interpersonal, collaboration and communication skillsPreferred RequirementsTraining in general office skillsExperience in consumer lending, banking, or related fieldGeneral knowledge of applicable credit laws and regulationsGeneral knowledge of agricultural practicesKnowledge of credit investigation and verification practicesKnowledge of platting and legal descriptionsKnowledge of accounting principles and processesBenefits Offered by AgWestMedical, dental, and vision insuranceBasic term life and AD&D insurance (fully paid for by the company)Paid days off annually: 15 vacation*, 15 sick, 12 holidays and 3 volunteer401(k) plan (6% match plus 3% employer contribution)Employee Assistance ProgramWellness ProgramJeans are welcome at work every day at AgWest!*Vacation accrual rates increase with tenure.
