Job Description:
As a Temporary-to-Permanent Travel RN in Omaha, NE, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality end-of-life care and support while exploring different locations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Patient Care: Deliver exceptional nursing care to hospice patients in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Assessment: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop individualized care plans.
- Medication Management: Administer medications and provide pain management.
- Emotional Support: Offer emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
- Education: Educate patients and families about their conditions and the hospice care process.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to regulatory guidelines.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Previous hospice or palliative care experience preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
